Founded in 2017, SWESO (Somali Welfare Entrepreneurship And Skill Organization) is a dedicated
non-profit organization working to improve lives through sustainable and inclusive development.
We operate with a strong belief in human dignity, equity, and empowerment, focusing on practical
solutions to pressing social and economic challenges.
Our Core Focus Areas
· Livelihood Programs
Supporting individuals and families to achieve economic independence through vocational
training, income-generating activities, and access to microfinance.
· Resilience Programs
Strengthening communities to anticipate, cope with, and recover from crises—natural
disasters, conflict, and economic hardship.
· Protection & Development
Safeguarding the rights, dignity, and well-being of vulnerable groups, including women,
children, and persons with disabilities.
· WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene)
Improving access to safe water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education to reduce disease
and enhance community health.
· Nutrition Programs
Combating hunger and malnutrition by promoting food security, dietary education, and
maternal and child health interventions.
